Community Guidelines

Keep MyPetHQ kind, safe, and honest

MyPetHQ connects pet owners with the people who care for their animals. These guidelines help everyone feel safe using it. They apply to messages, photos, reviews, and anything else you share in the app.

What we expect

Be respectful No harassment, bullying, threats, or hateful language, toward anyone.
No spam or scams Don't send junk, misleading offers, or try to trick anyone out of money.
Keep content appropriate No sexual, violent, or illegal content in messages, photos, or profiles.
Protect privacy Don't share other people's personal information. Never upload things like Social Security numbers, government IDs, or tax forms.
Be honest Reviews, photos, and updates should be real and accurate.
Put animals first No content that shows or encourages animal cruelty or neglect.

If something isn't right

In a chat, tap the menu at the top to report or block the other person, or press and hold a message to report it. You can also report a review from a provider's page. Blocking stops messages right away. Reports are reviewed within 24–48 hours.

What happens when guidelines are broken

Depending on what happened, we may remove the content, send a warning, limit someone's ability to send messages for a set time or permanently, or close the account. Serious cases, such as threats or scams, can lead to a faster and stronger response.

These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Think we got it wrong?

If you've received a warning or restriction and believe it was a mistake, email support@mypethq.app and tell us what happened. We'll take another look.
